


Welcome to Minnesota Hurricanes Basketball — a high-level development program built for athletes who are serious about competing, improving, and winning.
Minnesota Hurricanes Basketball is designed for boys in grades 6–12 who are ready to play at a competitive level. Teams are formed through a tryout process and structured to maximize player development, exposure, and team success.
This is not a recreational program — it is built for committed athletes willing to put in the work on and off the court.

Training & Development:
Players will participate in high-intensity practices twice per week, focused on:

Game IQ and decision-making

Strength, conditioning, and competitiveness

Team systems and execution
Competition
Minnesota Hurricanes teams compete in high-level tournaments across the metro area, facing top competition.

Approximately 8 tournaments per season

Additional tournaments may be added for advanced teams

Optional overnight tournament experiences

Season culminates in a Grade State Tournament in June, Tournament entry fees are included in registration costs (some events may require additional fees).

Financial Assistance
Grant-In-Aid (GIA) opportunities may be available. Families must apply prior to registration and allow 7–10 days for processing.
